PlanetSide 2 is a free-to-play multiplayer first-person shooter game published by Sony Online Entertainment. It is the remake to PlanetSide which originally released in year 2003. The second installment uses a new game engine with better graphics and supports thousands of players. PlanetSide 2 was announced for the PlayStation 4 video game console on June 5, 2013.
